Add Mika Bemis to trans women athletes. US national halfpipe champion in snowboarding, (23'-24' season, usasa, men's masters). Still competes in men's brackets even after the governing body have offered to let her compete in the ladies brackets. 172.56.152.119 (talk) 16:30, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done She does not seem to have an article yet. I'm not seeing any Google News hits when I search for her name. Unless there are some solid sources that I am not seeing then she is not notable enough for inclusion, at least not yet. --DanielRigal (talk) 18:27, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing, imprecise wording

[edit]

"Canadian non-binary soccer player Quinn became the first transgender person to compete at the Olympics" is quite confusing to read right after that Laural Hubbard was the first out trans woman to compete in them. The word "non-binary" should be moved to later in the sentence, replacing "transgender". Miamonteverdi (talk) 08:37, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing it out, corrected - Hubbard was the first transgender person to compete, and Quinn was the first non-binary person and first to win a medal, so I've added this to correct the timeline of events. Raladic (talk) 16:07, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
